Canada's Family Class Sponsorship programs are some of the most generous family reunification programs in the developed world. After all, the Canadian government is committed to keeping families together whenever possible. There are four types of relatives that are eligible to be sponsored:

A spouse or common-law partner
Dependent children under 22 years of age who are not married
Parents and grandparent
Any other relative, if you do not have any living relatives from your direct family

Other Immigration Routes

Federal Business Program

Buy a business, and apply for a work permit based on that business. After work in Canada for 1+ years, you can apply for residency. The Quickest Immigration Program.

Entrepreneurship Programs

Apply to government for right to open a business. If granted, you would obtain a work permit entitling you to move to province to set up business. then apply for Residency.

Express Entry Process

Process chooses candidates via a points system. In order to qualify, you must have skilled work experience and have a high point average (usually, 440+ out of 600 points).

Provincial Nominee Programs

Canadian provinces offer 80+ unique programs focused on their employment needs. To qualify, you must meet the specific program's requirements, and submit a separate application .

Family Sponsorship

Canadian residents can sponsor specific family members. As of now, a resident can only sponsor a spouse, a child, and a parent. Other relatives are not eligible.

Study then apply for Residency

You can apply to study in Canada. Once accepted you can complete your program, and receive an open work permit. After working for 1+ years, you could obtain residency.

Visitor Visas

You can visit Canada for a tourism or for a business purpose. Once there, you are free to check out the job and business market. However, you cannot work as a visitor.
